Medical Chaplain (England)

Throughout the last decade, Eleos Ministries has been involved in a move of God that has reached into the lives of the most hurting and despondent people in London's East End. Kurt Erickson, known affectionately as 'Chaplain Kurt,' runs a Chaplaincy ministry at The Mission Practice Surgery, Cambridge Heath Road E2, in one of London's most neediest and desperate neighborhoods.

Kurt has dedicated literally hundreds of hours counseling patients, as well as staff, towards complete healing in areas of physical and emotional illnesses, abuse, loneliness, addiction, severe anxiety and bereavement, as well as issues pertaining to faith, marriage/ divorce / separation and direction and guidance in life's important choices. Truly, God is a God who heals and restores life to its fullest.

In addition to the counseling, The Chaplaincy conducts perhaps the longest, continual running Alpha course in East London (11 months a year for the past 10 years - over 480 sessions!) This Bible study/discipleship group has evolved into one of the most crucial links between knowing the love and power of Christ's healing word and living out that life, in faith, through the authority and abundance of the magnificent overflow of His presence, securing restoration in every aspect of their lives. These weekly meetings have been the most instrumental factors in securing faith, providing direction, and promoting friendship and community for countless patients and visitors for all ages throughout the years.
